The Learning-Focused Toolbox is a web-based application. This allows Toolbox members to access their information virtually anywhere. It also allows us to add features and make updates as frequently as needed. In order for web-based applications to function properly, a few settings with your district hardware and software may need to be changed. The changes to your network settings will not interfere with or cause harm to your network security.
It is very important that you have district technology personnel review this checklist and make changes as necessary. Not doing so may cause some technology errors and disrupt the use of Toolbox. Success for using Toolbox is dependent on the technology meeting these requirements.
Our technical support can be reached by emailing Toolbox@LearningFocused.com. We are available to assist during this process. It is our goal for you to have complete satisfaction with our product.

Network Requirements Checklist:
You should provide the following information to your school/district network administrator:
Firewall allows outgoing traffic port 80 to IP address 220.127.116.11 & 18.104.22.168
Caching: If your network employs any type of caching, ensure that you exclude caching for:
Certain Firewalls (such as Sonicwall 3060) have been known to deny traffic due to a rule under the ‘Intrusion Prevention System’ named:
"EXPLOIT Internet Explorer Nested OBJECT Tag Memory Corruption.”
This must be disabled to ensure that Flash 8/9 can function properly with Toolbox.
How-to fix this: Under the security services section there may be another section for IPS (Intrusion Prevention System). There may be several categories to scan for (HIGH, MEDIUM, LOW). This particular exploit is in the HIGH category, you just run down the list, click it and disable that entire scan OR you can do what others have done and configure the IPS to not scan any traffic to 22.214.171.124 and 126.96.36.199 by clicking on "Configuring IPS" on that page at the top.
